The title sounds pretentious but all it means is that we study the French language through classic short stories, poems and fables! Conversation in French ensues. Suits anyone who has done Year 12 French, but if you are interested in giving it a try do come along.

HISTORY OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

The study of English will continue utilizing the DVD, Adventures in English History by Melvin Brag. The eras of rapid development in language will be investigated, particularly at the time of Chaucer and during the Elizabethan period.

ITALIAN CONVERSATION

Outline of Course
The course is designed for people who have a basic knowledge of Italian vocabulary and grammar. Situations are created in which students can answer questions, conduct a conversation or give an account of something they have seen or done- in Italian. The emphasis is on being able to deal with menus, bookings, times, directions or just chatting.
