Course Outline
It is possible to “sit in” on lectures given at La Trobe University, Bendigo. Participants must register for each course they wish to attend. It is not possible for members to go to tutorials, practical classes or field excursions. Information on courses will be available at the Enrolment Days and in the U3A Office thereafter, but for up-to-date information U3A Castlemaine, Prospectus 2012 you should check the La Trobe timetable online:

Movies of Merit - All year

Course Outline
This program provides an opportunity to see films that are well regarded internationally and which will make you think. Each week we see a film from start to finish, assess it both analytically and from a personal enjoyment perspective. We meet in the Theatre Royal, courtesy of David Stretch.

Entry Criterion
No formal knowledge – just an interest in film!
To critically appraise the film and subsequently rate it for technical content and personal enjoyment.

Meeting Time
10.45 am to 1.45 pm Mondays weekly, commencing 9 January.
NB: 10 am start on January 9, 16, 23 and 30.
